This weekend's game was the eighth postponed match (so far!) this season. Rain, snow, frozen pitches, more rain, more snow...not much fun if you have waited all week to play, have the kitbag ready and waiting. However Wandsworth Common have announced three days before the fixture that the pitches are flooded and a torrential downpour is expected sunday morning onwards. We have re-scheduled almost every fixture so far so all we can do now is pray for some sunshine...and maybe move to Southern Europe next season?
